2nd Project for RMS Team
This is my second project for the Rusty Monkey Studio Design Team. I had so much fun making this.  It is a wood canvas that I painted Brown, added lace that I antiqued with Staz-On Ink.  Then I added the middle piece with is rice paper and put a monacle over her eye.  I added the three estuchians that I was given by RMS and I made them look rusty by using Finnabair's Rust Paste.  I put a door knob on the first one and a key that I also used rust paste one, the second has brown and teal rust paste with two bottles inside and a piece of lace with an embellishment on it and the third, also rust paste with a doll that I added paste on as well.

I decided to add lace to the rings of my Paris Album for the Rusty Monkey Artisan Design Team that I'm on.  I think it's better now

I am so honored to have an Honorable Mention given to this painting.  I posted it in the Monet Cafe Art group on Facebook contest for advanced and beginners.  I put it as a beginner. Hopefully next time I can add one as advanced

Nocturne

This is the first time I did a Nocturne scene.  I learned from Marla Bagetta's workshop and had a hard time with it.  It took me a few times but I finally finished it.   She was kind enough to give me a video critique on it and I redid it the way she suggested.  I am pretty happy with it now.  I hope to try more different scenes in the future

This is another in my series of ocean pictures that I painted from Bermuda. It was done in soft pastels.  I have a few more to do of pictures that I took while I was there.  I am really enjoying them

I am happy to announce that I was asked to join Rusty
Monkey Design Team by Tina Schiefer. I have just about
Finished my first project. A Paris album. I had so
Much fun making this. I used Finnabairs rust pastels
To cover the front and back and the insides
Then the pages were made of chipboard so I
Added pages from Paris magazines I had from
My last visit. I added some stickers and
Ephemera all In Paris theme. Then I
Distressed it with Tim Holts alcohol ink
In brown. I will paint the insides of the covers
And put the rings on it and it will be done!

I am excited to say that I have finally met Lana Ballot.  I did her 3-day workshop
at the Atelier Flowfield in St. James, Long Island.  I met some nice people and I
learned a lot.

We did seascapes in beautiful colors.  I have not finished any yet.  We watched her
paint in the morning and then we painted in the afternoon.

We were told not to expect to leave with a finished painting
I will work on them soon and when finished, I will post them here on my blog
My first ocean waves in pastel
Ocean Waves done in pastel
This one I am extremely happy with. I took a photo while I was in Bermuda and painted it on Mi Tientes sanded paper. It is a 9x12 and I used soft pastels, Sennelier and Rembrandt
I love the colors in this particular one
This is a landscape pastel that I recently did.  I did almost all of it on my own.  My teacher showed me where to touch it up a little but I am very proud of this one.  I can't wait to frame it

A pastel drawing of Ladies With Character class I took online with Yvonne Morrell
Here is a travel journal of Paris when we visited in 2018
It has souveniers, pictures and all types of ephemera in it

Here is a pastel painting I did of a sunset for my friend
